Questions
How many guests can The Woodstore sleep?
Up to 8 guests across four bedrooms. A cot is available on request.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes. Well behaved dogs are welcome and there are plenty of countryside walks from the door. Please tell us when you book if you are bringing a dog, as a small number of house rules apply.
What are the check in and check out times?
Check in is from 4pm. Check out is by 11am when you book direct with us, an hour later than through booking sites. If you would like an early arrival or late departure, ask us before you travel and we will help if the cleaning schedule allows.
Is there a minimum stay?
Stays are a minimum of 4 nights. We also ask for at least 4 days' notice before arrival so the house is fully prepared for you.
Is the pool private?
The indoor pool, sauna and steam room are shared by the Wellesley Park estate, and you can book them in one hour slots for private use by your group. The gym, tennis court and library are also available to guests.
How do I pay?
We accept credit and debit cards, PayPal and Apple Pay.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes, in line with the cancellation terms on your booking confirmation. Get in touch as early as you can and we will do our best to help.
How far is Wells?
About a 1.5 mile walk into the city centre along country paths. If you drive, there is free parking for up to 3 hours behind Morrisons, a short walk from the centre.
